THE COURSE

One city.
Every Bell.

The GPX starts on the Wharf, cuts through Civic Center and the Richmond, drops to the Sunset and Excelsior, tags the southeast side, then heads back up the Embarcadero for the finish.

THE CHECKPOINTS

Eat at all
eight stops.

Seven unique Taco Bell locations, eight total visits. Fisherman’s Wharf is both the start and the finish, so yes: you eat there twice. Charter Oak still counts. We made the rules.

THE VERY OFFICIAL

Rules of
the run.

◖
01

You have to eat.

One food item minimum at every Taco Bell visit. Fisherman’s Wharf counts at the start and again at the finish, which means eight food stops total. No drive-by Bell tagging.

02

The finish-line tax.

By the finish, everyone must have eaten at least two specialty items total somewhere along the route. Then, at the final Fisherman’s Wharf stop, you must have one alcoholic drink (21+ only). This is in addition to the one-food-item minimum at every Taco Bell visit.

03

Tag every Bell.

Hit all seven unique San Francisco locations in route order, then return to Fisherman’s Wharf for stop eight.

04

Don’t be a menace.

This is an unofficial urban run on public streets and sidewalks. Obey lights, crossings, closures, and normal pedestrian rules.

05

Hydrate with something that is not queso.

Bring water, electrolytes, and whatever normal running nutrition your stomach still recognizes.

06

Finish together.

The route is dumb. The people are the point. Look out for the group and regroup when needed.

OPTIONAL. DERANGED. ICONIC.

The Shikhar
Rules.

The regular challenge is one food item at every visit plus the finish-line tax. Shikhar, for reasons known only to Shikhar, still gets the full eight-course Taco Bell tasting menu below.

No substitutions unless the restaurant is literally out. Finish the order at each stop before moving on. This is the advanced stupidity division.
